Their son was Newton Holmes Tyson, and his daughter was Mary Emma Tyson, my mother. I think my mother was a cousin of the Ella Mae that you mention in your message. My mother was also the cousin of Margaretta Shoop of Highspire. I have a lot of information on the Tyson line which goes back to the 1500's.
