Sources of Bowman/Bauman are the book by Clarence E. Spohn, from the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley in Ephrata, PA titled "Bowman/ Bauman Family ow Cocalico Township, Lancaster Co., P. A. - Millers, Tavernkeepers, Papermakers and Printers" and a book published in 1957 by Laura K. Heinhold, titled " Genealogy of John Bowman of the Seventh Day German Baptists of Ephrata, Pa." On the Church of the Brethren website, there is a list of the Cloister Members at the Ephrata site, and other information. It doesn't do any good to offer editing of the message, when the system just jumbles it up!
