    3. This information for Michael and Elizabeth is different from what I have in my data base - is it new to the list? The source is given below. Many thanks to those who have undertaken the effort to make this information available on-line. EGOLFF, Elizabeth, w/o Michael, Sept 8-1795, 66y Michael, April 8-1817, 91y 6m 6d EGOLF, Corpl. W. This latter source also has Michael listed twice and the two soldiers in their index - Michale Egolf died 1817 and Elizabeth Egolf, died 1795, are found in Necrology, Cumberkland County. Other researchers gave me "Marriages and Deaths from the Carlisle Gazette and the Western Repository of Knowledge, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 1786-1800 - suppose this is the reference. Maybe I misinterpreted the death date but I had Micheal; dying September 9, 1795, born October 2, 1727. And I had no information for his wife, Elizabeth. This was probably my mistake. What I now have from the above cemetery records - Micheal EGOLFF death: April 8, 1817. From his age 91 y, 6 d, 6 m, I caculate his birth date October 2, 1725. And Elizabeth died: Sept 8, 1795 at age 66 y. Therefore born: 1729. I would appreciate an Egolf seeker's comments. This may not be new but in any case I would appreciate confirmation of these dates. Does anyone know where the two soldiers fit? Regards Hal
