Married Elizabeth Fort ca. 1818. James and Elizabeth died in Mapelton, Huntindon County in ca. 1850's. Known children: Daniel (of whom later), David, James, Robert, and Mary. ?son John, married to Lydia. 2) Daniel Leeper, born 24 Jul 1819 in Dickinson, Cumberland County. Married 21 Mar 1844 to Nancy Warren of Menallen, Adams County. Danieland Nancy resided in Pine Grove Furnace, Cumberland County, where Daniel was in charge of the charcoal making process. Daniel, a Civil War Veteran, died 11 Dec 1899, and is buried in Weksville, Adams County. Nancy died 03 Feb 1905, and is buried next to Daniel.
