My grandfather was Edwin DILLER Einstein of Carlisle, PA (Cumberland County). Unfortunately, I have no further information since my mother was born out of wedlock and the mystery surrounding her birth was never revealed to us until 1999. My mother was born in 1919, in Dauphin County, Harrisburg. So, as you can see, people who could have shared some light on her family tree are already deceased. Edwin DILLER Einstein was born December 8, 1885 or 4 to Joseph E. Einstein and Ella Florence RINEHEART Einstein in Carlisle, PA and baptized the following year at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle. Unfortunately, I have no further info on Ella or Joseph and constantly hit a brick wall. At the time of my mother's conception Edwin was married to an Emilie J. Baker, also of Carlisle. Edwin's parents were the proprietors of a hotel called The Mansion House. If any of this sound familiar please let me know. Enjoy your researching!
