Henry Engle born somewhere around 1812-22 in PA. married Elizabeth Garman in PA> Had two sons PA. Moved to clark county, had a son, John, OHIO> Moved to darke county, on 1850 census. Moved to INDIANA, Adams County, blue creek township, 1960 census. Both of Henry's parents are born in PA also. So this puts their birth at or before the 1800's in PA> Yes, that is correct...... somewhere in PA, amongst the trillion engles, with all the same names. there is a henry... and there is an elizabeth I cannot find them on an 1840 PA census, however that search is incomplete at the usgenweb project. And that census only names heads of households. There are quite a few Henry Engles out there you know...lol I looked for henry at some of the online engle sites but cannot find my henry yet. he was a farmer, this i know. so he must have come from a farm in PA, i am guessing. He and his sons were very good at horticulture and quite the woodsmen as well. apparently they drove cattle from indiana to michigan. however my sister said that that was a bunch of bull, that my grandmother said it was "A COW" LOL. My link to him is through his son George W. Engle. who moved to Petoskey, Northern Michigan, in 1891. He had Charles, Charles had Clarence and Clarence had Jake,my father. does anyone have anything that resembles this ???? henry or elizabeth??? engle/garman please let me know if you do. thanks judi engle
