Our James died in 1778 and his first wife was dead by 1764. Your Martha was born in 1780. However I will continue to check records as she could be a granddaughter or a niece. I also need to dig into my older files to see about the Barclay/Kirkpatrick or maybe a Barclay/McElhenny family connection. I remember records regarding Barclays although they weren't connected to my direct line. I am temporarily working away from home and I'm not sure that I have those records with me.
