Fred, Do you happen to have a female Harris, born in Oh or IA, that married a Dunham, born in Oh or ND. They were in IA in 1869 when their dau Etna was born. Etna was my great grandmother and one of my "brick walls". Etna had two bro. named Harry and John. As a new member of the Cumberland County list, I would like to enter a query. My "brickwall", is my GGGGrandfather, John Henry HARRIS who was born in Mifflin County in 1804. In all probability that would mean that his German HARRIS parents arrived from the Palentine about the time that Northumberland County was being broken up into Mifflin, Juniata, Cumberland etc., counties, so I really have no way of knowing where they landed. He was born in Mifflin Co., but since it constituted such a small part of Northumberland Co., they could have been in the part that was Cumberland Co before the re-alignment. So my question is this, will you all please check your "trees" for any HARRIS family members. I have a great deal of data about their ulitimate trek from PA to Tusc. County, OH., and finally to centarl & SW Indiana prior to their "explosion" of family members across the Mississippi. Any help will be Greatly appreciated.Thank you!!! > Fred Harris > > > ==== PACUMBER Mailing List ==== > A quick link to the complete list of PA USGenWeb County sites. > http://www.pagenweb.org/ > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
