My grandfather John Hale is buried in Cumberland county. Oak Hill Cemetery (The First English Evangelical Lutheran Church) He lived there most of his life. I have the basics on him (but always we want MORE, right!?) but mainly I seek info on HIS parents. John hale married Mary Bovenmier from Lancaster. And his son John M. Hale (b1803) married Elizabeth Doner, who was born in Lancaster Co, PA ( Carlisle ) I think. So John Hale's parents may be from Lancasrer, or Berks county. They were Lutheran so may have followed the typical path many German emigrants followed. I have a good solid trace from present times to John M. Hale b 1803 in Cumberland. And 90% sure John Hale is the next step, and his dates are 1775 to 1854 or 1856. Thanks for any help. Jim Hale
