I've "rescued" a group of photographs including one of Susan SHEETZ. There is no location noted on the photograph, however, all the other photographs were from locations in Pennsylvania including Harrisburg, Hummelstown, Mechanicsburg, and Jersey Shore. I would guess that the photograph was taken in the 1870's or 1880's and that Susan was in her early teens at the time. A second photograph is of an unidentified woman who appears to resemble Susan, that photo was taken in Mechanicsburg, PA probably in the 1870's. The woman in the second photo appears to be in her 30's at the time. Also recovered from the same source are photographs belonging to the DIPNER, PARTHEMORE, EARNEST, and FISHER families of Harrisburg, Hummelstown, and Jersey Shore, PA. The handwritten names on many appear to have been made by the same hand leading me to believe they are all connected in some manner. I'm hoping to return the photographs to family.
