I am totally confused by the post below. To what family is the person referring to and ... is the person posting writing about their own children, grand children, or great grandchildren ("I am a direct ancestor of this family"). Or maybe they meant they are a direct descendant of somebody? I'm not trying to be picky, here, but we must be careful to use the correct words, or we'll confuse everybody.
