>From the records at Zion Lutheran Church in Harrisburg there is listed for the year 1809 the marriage of Friederich Franck and Catharina Mayern, May 23. There were two other marriages two days later and my hope is that someone on the list has a location or town for any of the following: Ludwig Zarhring (Zearing) and Betzi Popp, May 25 Phillip Schafer and Suzanne Vieman, May 25 Also Michael Viehle and Elisabeth Conrad, on May 14 These marriages were performed by Johann Dietrich Petersen, most of his travels seem to have taken him from Harrisburg up both sides of the Susquehanna River.
