    2. Alisa- For militia and Rev. War records,here are two sources you should not miss: #1. The published Archives of PA. More than one million soldiers are listed in the alphabetical index of the SEVENTH SERIES (5 volumes). This index applies to the (14) volumes in SERIES SIX. You will also find additional military data in the SECOND, THIRD and FIFTH SERIES. Almost all large Pennsylvania libraries will have the Archive books which consist of 138 volumes published between 1838 and 1935. #2 The second source to check is: <A HREF="http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/archive.asp">http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/archive.asp</A> About 200,000 veterans of the militia and Pennsylvania Line are in alphabetical order on 4x6 microfilmed cards.
