Was doing more digging on my John REACHERT and found a problem. (gee, what a surprise) LEt us say for argument, that the 1850 census with Gutlip (Gotleib) RIECHERT and wife Margaret are the parents of John. In the 1880 census John, is listed with his daughter Ida F. (my g-gran, so I know he is the right one) and his mother age 65, Martha. o-o-OK....then in the cemetery next to his wife and his stone is MAgdalene REAGHERT. Is this woman really Margaret MArtha Magdalene REACHERT? Is this 3 different women? Are the people who transcribe blind? Can Anyone figure this out for me?? KRismarie
