My ancestor, Robert WEIR(E) Born : 1752, Ireland. Died: 1823, Westmoreland County, PA. Married: Margaret GORDON and Margaret CAMPBELL. The History of Indiana County, PA states that Robert fought in the Revolution for the Cumberland County Militia. How do I document the Militia? Where are the Muster Rolls (or anything)? I can't document either of his marriages - what Presbyterian Churches were in existence and are records available from 1773 -1790?
