1. [PACUMBER] Re location of St. Michael's Church graveyard in Perry County
2. Marcia, St. Michael's Church is gone, but the graveyard is still maintained. It is several miles west of Liverpool, south of the road through Pfoutz Valley. It is visible from the road, and there is a dirt access road through a field. Check the USGS map on www.topozone.com - St. Michael's Church is labeled on the 1:25,000 magnification. Bob Kline

3. Bob, Thank you so very much. I was able to find it on the map, but I guess I'll wait a while to travel out that way. The snow's so bad that when I throw the cat out he comes flying back to the door like he's on a bungee cord. I found several lists of communicants and others in the book, "Churches Between the Mountains". This has some very early information on that Phoutz Valley congregation. I found a FRANCK/FRANK I was looking for but I am still searching for a marriage record between John PHOUTS/FOUTS and Susanna FRANCK/FRONK sometime in the 1840's.
