Hi Marjorie: Well... that's a good question! I thought I'd be able to go to the censuses and find the parents of Sarah E. LOGAN - but it's not going to be that easy! I found Sarah E. LOGAN living with her grandparents, George and Elizabeth KNOUSE in 1880 and 1870. I then found George and Elizabeth with their own children in 1860. (b.ca.1833 - after her husband's death she married James R. WALKER) LOGAN ---- or ---- James D. (b.1794 d.1869) and Lydia Catherine (b.1828) LOGAN. I was unable to find other LOGANs in Frankford Twp. to see if they had any other children about the same age as Sarah E. - in 1870. Do you by chance know when Sarah E. LOGAN died? And where buried? If so, you can request her Death Certificate if she died after 1905 in Pennsylvania.
