Donna, I am looking for more information on Josias Brown, b. 1744, place unknown, married Hannah Mitchell. He lived in Newville I believe and served in the PA Militia. I believe he moved into Cumberland County in about 1862, We have been to your historical society a couple of years ago. Hi Jan: Don't know much on the BROWN families - anywhere. I would suggest contacting the Cumberland Co. Historical Society for research. I know they do research requests for a fee. Sorry I couldn't be of any help at this time!
