Linda - I tried to send a message to you last night but connection failed and could not be sure message went out. Will try again. I said, since we have the same source, you probably know as much as I about the license to Widow Jack. I looked again through "Over the River" and do not find any explanation for the fact that Widow Jack has License no 222, a high number despite the fact that she settled in the Cumberland Valley prior to the Blunston License Period. I can only guess it was a matter of Blunston getting rid of the licenses he had been authorized to grant at one particular time, and catching up on those persons who were already in residence as he came to them. Some have very low numbers, there seems to be no pattern to the way these numbers were assigned. I am going to close and Send, and then I am coming back with some observations i made while going back through "Over the River" to see what you think.
