It appears as if there is no more data to be gained from the Blunston License book about Widow JACK. However, several JACK family members are listed among the records of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, which is located a few miles north of Shippensburg, PA. William JACK is mentioned twice. He was called before the Church Session to testify on 23 Jan 1746. It concerned a disagreement among other church members...he testified about a digging iron (called a mattock) that was broken.. Again, on 22 Jan 1748, he was called before the Session. This time William was a little bit under the weather......too much alcohol. Jane JACK and James JACK are mentioned in relation to burials for two daughters, one in 1808 and one in 1827. The Middle Spring history is on the Internet, and the last item will be found on Pages 180 and 181. MIDDLE SPRING CHURCH by Swope or http://www.protosight.com/middle%20spring%20web%20page/wylie'ssketch.htm
