There was a Henry Deal on tax lists of 1800 and 1803 for Hopewell Twp. You might consider him. A Paul Deal (maybe mine) is found Bedford Co, Hopewell and Woodberry Twp c 1800: Paul Deal 1-0-0-1-0; 1-0-1-0-0. Check out the tax lists, maybe you will find him near Laughlins.
