I am looking at a group of Pattersons, who passed through Cumberland County and settled, the Big Cove, in what became Fulton County. In "Concerning the Forefathers", by Charlotte R. Conover, she discusses their migration across Pennsylvania, to west of the Susquehanna River, ca. 1738. The farm was known by the name of “Sweet Arrow”. Robert Patterson was the patriarch of this clan. His son Francis settled the Cove when it was still Cumberland County ca. 1750. Francis was the father of Col. Robert Patterson the founder of Lexington Kentucky. Does you file mention any of these Patterson’s?
