Alexander and James Mullen were sons of Michael and Esther Mullen who came to America in 1770 and settled in Carlisle in 1776. Michael fought in the American Revolution and Alexander and James fought in the War of 1812. James was killed at the Battle of Chippawa. I have found some information online as to Alexander's children (christening records). My father had a larger list of his children with birth dates but I can not confirm this information. From what I can gather, most of Alexander's life was spent in Cumberland Co.
