Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JaB.2ACE/3501 Message Board Post: John Bentley Hettrick was my Great-Grandfather and I can't find any information about his family. He was born in PA in 1873 and the only reason I know this is by a 1900 census record in Pennington County South Dakota. John Bentley Hettrick died in a tragic mill accident and I have pictures of him and supposedly pictures of his parents or his wife Della Durand's parents..not sure whose parents they are. I also have newspaper articles of the accident, and other newspaper articles about the family. If anyone can help me find out about John Bentley Hettrick I would very much appreciate it. I have been at a dead end with him for awhile now. Thank you. Kelly
Kelly, John got a homestead tract in Pennington, South Dakota in June of 1900. That file would be at the National Archives and might give you more information about him.
