I saw your posting on Ancestry re Zeiglers....and that you had sorted our the Zeiglers of Cumberland County. I am at a dead end. David Zeigler was purportedly b 1790 in Cumberland County (near Craighead) and is buried in Idaville Zion Methodist church cemetery along with his son David R. Zeigler and son John Zeigler. David Zeigler Sr. Was in War of 1812, but so far pension records have not revealed his first wife. His second wife was Hannah Ross of Adams County whom he married at the Bermudian Church in 1838 and then had 5 children. They lived in Adams County. We found David Zeigler's obituary in Adams County stating he had 13 children... That's it...no deeds, nothing else. I'm wondering is the Elizabeth Zeigler who died in 1836 might be his first wife....just a long shot. ANY help would be great appreciated.
