    3. Hi, Bob: You're quite welcome. It's certainly possible that they married in Alice's church, but I think the county would have the marriage license application if they married in Cumberland. I'm more familiar with York county records, hopefully someone on this message board can help with a lookup or can at least point you in the right direction. I didn't find their names in the marriage records on the York Archives' site. I just did some "Googling" and found the Cumberland County Historical Society ( http://www.historicalsociety.com/library.htm ) which mentions marriage licenses (1886-1930) and a marriage license index (1885-1929).     3. The official marriage license applications and their disposition should be on file at the recorder of Wills Office at the Court House. The listing at the HS likely a duplicate.
