I have a William Irwin, b. c. 1730; d. 1790 in Southampton Twsp., Franklin  Co., PA.  He married Marha ? and they had 8 children:  Elizabeth, Mary, Jennet, Martha, Margaret, Ann, William, and John Elizabeth md. ? Hunter and they had two children:  William Irwiin Hunter and Martha Hunter.  William Irwin was my gggf, b. 13 Dec 1780 in Franklin Co. Most of my information follows William Irwin  H. and his descendants. Mary md. John Mitchell Jennet (Jean) md  William Strain (license issued 7 Dec 1772) Martha md. David Simerall and they had 6 children: Jane, Margaret, John, David, James and Mary. Ann md. John Ogilby.  Moved to Washington, PA and then to Belmont, OH William md Catherine Maclay.  I only know of one child, John Maclay (M.C.) Irwin.
