Thank You! However, now you've presented me with a problem. Who was the mother of the daughters, Emma or Anna? My guess is that Emma was Ed's first wife and they had Blanche and Hazel. But Emma was only 29 when she died and the girls 7 and 10. Ed then found a wife, Anna - 8 yrs his senior - to help raise his girls. I guess the next place to knock is the ???? Church or cemetery records. Perhaps a local paper would have reported on weddings, births, deaths and obits. Would that be only the Carlisle paper? I have been spoiled by HAHS library's indexed extracts of the Hummelstown Sun from it's beginning to 1955. A lot of dedicated work by a few great ladies. Another interesting item, I worked with a Varner (Blanche's husband's surname) from that Mt Holly area on the RR. I'll be making a call tomorrow. My life is an unending tale of serendipities of "It's a Small World." Larry, are your records photo or text? I collect tombstone photos if you have them. Thanks again. - Allen Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
