I am looking for William POWEL(L) who showed up as owner of fifty acres in Dickinson Township, Washington County, 1787. Next door to William lived Widow POWELL. As added information: Isaac POWELL, another William POWELL, John POWELL and Joseph POWELL showed up on the Dickinson tax lists between 1787 and 1789. Anybody researching the POWEL(L) families of Cumberland who could possibly provide a clue/source/information? There is no land record for William POWELL in Westmoreland County. TIA Rick Powell
