Andrew and his family are in the 1820 census in Cumberland County and later records indicate his first children were born in York County in the 1800-1810 decade. I plan to attend the Ligonier Scottish Games in PA, September 11 and 12, 2010. The Elliot Clan Society will hold its Annual General Meeting there, after which I plan to go to Cumberland and York Counties to do research. I would very much appreciate references to libraries, archives, historical societies, and government offices which might contain birth, marriage and death records. Thank you for your assistance.
