You will soon see some clues that my FOREMAN/FUHRMAN and my EGG/ECK/HECK ancestors came to America at least 100 years before the 1850s. I know my FOREMAN/FUHRMAN ancestors were living in the southeastern part of PA by 1750. My EGG/ECK/HECK anceestors came to America in the very early 1700s and originally were from the Solothurn, Switzerland area. You may want to get hold of copy of Helen Arkey's book, "Eck Families" to see if you can uncover any potential connections with your HECK family ancestors.
