If we "ignore" Jane/Jennie's age in the 1880, her age is very consistent (22 in 1870; 52 in 1900; 72 in 1920). Also considering their location (Mifflin for 1870, 1880, & 1900) is consistent. The 1870 shows them with a 1-year-old male child (Har...y); the 1880 shows them with a 13-year-old Harvey; the 1900 census has a 32-year-old Harvey McCoy living in Hopewell Twp., Cumberland Co., PA; 1910 - Harvey E. McCoy, 41, Penn Twp., Cumberland Co., PA--again, very consistent. I wish the census material indicated who provided the information, that might explain why the 1880 info seems to be a little "off". Do you have Jane or Jennie's maiden name? Maybe we could find her in the earlier census material to see what her parents/siblings called her. Is this the Joshua you referred to?
