PA Her parents were Charles Ashenfelter and Lillian Bartell (or Bartels). Lillians full name was Gertrude Sophia Lillian Bartels (my mom's sister) She was b. 1902. When Lillian and Charles divorced Charlotte went to live with his sisters and I don't believe my mother's family ever saw her again. She was told her parents were deceased. When she married Robert Calvin Miller in 1947, the marriage license shows her parents to be deceased. At the time she married she was living on Hummel St. in Harrisburg. I followed her and her husband to 1967 I believe when they lived in Cumberland Co. The SSDI shows a Charlotte B. Miller who b. 1914 and d. 2003 in Mechanicsburg. Wondering if that was her and they messed up the birth year. Lillian died in 1972 and is buried in Troy NY. I knew Charles was working in the steel mill when I did in 1969.
