    1. Re: [PACUMBER] Mary Bealor Koons
    2. Thank you. My interest is in the Jane Carnahan who married Josiah Brown, First Presbyterian Church, Phildelphia in 1719. Jane had two brothers and believe she died in Westmorland County. My family line is Brown and I am researching the Carnahan line to see if I can find about this Josiah Brown. My ggg grandfather Josias Brown who married Hannah Mitchell, Josias was born 1744, place unknown. I think the Jane I wrote to you about is a grandaughter of the Jane I am looking for. Josias served in the RW from Cumberland County, PA, then moved to Ohio County, WVA. I am looking for his parents. Thanks, would appreciate any information you might run across. The Mitchell family married into the Espy family also. Thanks again, Jan

"My" Elizabeth is Patchell (not Patchel) but, interestingly, I know I have come across the name Elizabeth Reside before. I just have to figure out where. My Elizabeth also lived to be about 82 years old. However, there's enough here to suggest a possible connection. If you know any more, please let me know. Thanks again. Harry

    3. I am looking for information about Ege's Furnace which I think is aka Boiling Springs (abt. 4 mi. east of Carlisle). I believe this is where my gggggrandfather was living at time of 1790 US Federal Census. I have seen that Boiling Springs is/was an "unincorporated town" in Cumberland Co. Can anyone tell me what it meant to be an unincorporated town? Where might records from this area be located? Thank you! Trevor researching EDELBLUTE and CROCKETT (et al.) - Cumberland Co., PA
