Surnames: Kelly Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JaB.2ACE/2873.1 Message Board Post: Dear Kimberly, You are speaking of my great uncle Ed. He was the brother of my maternal Grandfather,Albert Kelly who was married to Mary Walker. At the time of death he was living in a small apartment on East Louther Street in Carlisle. I have so many good childhood memories of him that I would not know where to start. I will tell you that he often called me "Gene Autry"after my cowboy hero. If you get in touch with the Hamilton Library on Pitts Street in Carlisle they have the certificates you are searching for. It may be listed as Hamilton Museum-I'm not living in Carlisle anymore and I'm not sure. Uncle Ed served in World War II and was given a Veterans Funeral. He is buried at Westminister Memorial Gardens on the Newville road. Let me know if you want more information on his grave location. I don't know the exact lot number but I can give you directions. Good luck on your search sweetie-let me know if you need more information.

Surnames: Glime/Gleim Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JaB.2ACE/2009.2 Message Board Post: Barbara Glime/Gleim was the daughter of Frederick Gleim b. 16 Aug, 1766- d. May 19 1850 and Elizabeth Keller b.Oct 24. 1773-d. June 19, 1857. Frederick and Elizabeth are buried in Cocklin's Graveyard. Although their name was occassionally spelled as Glime by census takers, it is more often spelled Gleim. They are listed as Gleim in the cemetery. ( I have seen the stones.) Sarah Ann Glime/Gleim (b. @1830) is possibly the daugher of John Gleim (b. 1804-1879) and Anna Stambaugh . John Gleim was the son of Frederick, and Sarah Ann is possibly Frederick's granddaughter.

    1. [PACUMBER] Christian Deal/Dale d 1804 Tyrone Twp
    2. J & S Mills
    3. Hello, I'm trying to learn more about Christian Deal/Dale and his life in Cumberland Co. In 1790 he was enumerated on p 79 in Cumberland Co in the combined pages for Hopewell, Newton, TYBORN, and Westpensboro. On March 1804 his will was presented for probate. It mentions wife Martha, sons Christian, Paul, Peter, and Daniel and daughters Martha and Christiana. Executors were Daniel Dale and John Miller. Witnesses were Thomas Simonton, Daniel Lower, and Mathias Best. He was reportedly from TYRONE township. I understand boundaries changed from the formation of the county, so I may not know enough to determine where he actually lived in 1790 and 1804. Was "Tyborn" Toboyne or Tyrone? Is it just a misprint? And is there a good site for looking up land entries for early Cumberland Co? Sharon Mills
