Gary & Bob, I knew the Hilands name was familiar and remember that in a court docket, there were problems between Josiah Brown and the Highlands. In those dockets it mentioned a Josiah Sr. and Josiah the younger. This would have been in Cumberland County in the 1780's. If you have anything that might help I would appreciate hearing from you. I am looking for a Susannah Light who married an Allison. She would probably have been born sometime between 1810 and 1830 to the family of John Henry Light. She is mentioned in her father's will from Wheatfield, Perry Co., in 1854 as "Susannah Allison". I have never been able to find her spouse. Might you have an Allison or Allision family that might connect? Peggy Lyte Tyrrell DCMYP@aol.com wrote: >My 4th great grandfather was Daniel EARLY m. Elizabeth ALLISON. >He was b. circa 1750. Chris / Joanne: A long shot, but would either of you have any links with Jacob Earl MYERS and his wife Edyth who lived at 52 South Pitt Street, Carlisle in 1950? My grandmother used to correspond with them during the War, and so I'm pretty sure they're relatives, but I don't yet know how we're linked.
