Bob, Would any of your Drakes have migrated to Mason Co KY and across the river into Adams/Brown Co OH? For Hershman and other spelling variants, I always recommend the 3 volume trilogy for Harshman and similar spellings done by Corey and Mavourneen Harshman, still available from Mavourneen Harshman. I have her address if interested. It's a work based on family information and public records, not infallible but can give you a head start.
