I have lots of relatives in the Kutz Letort cemetary, but there are some in the Trindle Springs location as well. I have a living relative, Betty Stickel Andrews that provided a drawing of the Greegor connection to my branch. I have interpreted it into my FTM file. I show that John K Greegor and Mary Ann Enck had 10 children. Son Ira E. (1856-1936) married Mary Ann Stickle. Would you please contact me so that we might exchange information? Regards Terry (Stickel) Hintz

Their son Samuel K. Bowman married Rebecca Kreitzer and they went to Oklahoma as you have said. I found them in the 1900 to 1930 census and they had two sons: Charles and Edward , b. ca. 1777 and 1779. Samuel K. was still living with his parents at the time of the 1870 Census of Cumberland Co. and 19 years old. I do not know when Oklahoma Territory was opened to settlement, but it must have been 1875 to 1900. I found a source listing Rebecca's ancestry and it uses World Family Tree Vol. 5, Tree # 0974 and it states that Andrew Kreitzer, b. 1878, Berks Co. mar- ried Catherine Gebhart , b. 1878, and their son John Kreitzer, b. 22 Jan 1815 in Montgomery Co., OH, mar- ried Rebecca Gephart, b. 23 Aug 1821 in Berks Co.,PA on 22 Apr 1841. Their children: Mary Ann[1842], Henry [1843],Elizabeth [1847],Andrew [1850], David [1852] Joseph A. [1854], Sarah Catherine 1857 and Rebecca Ellen [1859]. I do not know where Isabella comesfrom But, as you know, just because something is printed or is on a CD does not mean it is correct. This is what my search of Ancestry World Tree Project found. My line is Christian Bowman> John Bowman> John William Bowman, John Henry Bowman. John Bowman, b. 1818 was a brother of Samuel Bowman.

Marybeth, For Geer, have you consulted the Geyer list? Dave Rankin, moderator, has an extensive Geyer file, which often is spelled Gear or Geer, which is also how the word is pronounced in one Geyer line.
