    2. Donna Heller Zinn
    3. Hello Fellow Listers: Does anyone know where a man by the name of Clem B. KITCHEN is buried? His birthmonth and year found as November 1854 [as per the 1900 Census]. And his death year found as 1912. He was residing in the 7th Ward of Harrisburg on what appears to be Seventh St. during the 1900 Census where he was listed as an Engineer on the Railroad. He was living with his wife, Sarah J. (b.Sep-1854); father, Amos H. [K.] (b.Sep-1826) and mother, Sarah A. (b.Jun-1827); and father-in-law, John A. LEONARD (b.Jul-1822). Amos H. and Sarah A. KITCHEN were residing in Orange Twp., Columbia Co., PA. with their sons, Amos P. and John V. during the 1880 Census. Amos H.'s parents were to have been born in New Jersey - as per the 1880 Census. Thanks in advance for any help. Donna Heller Zinn of Newville, Cumberland Co., PA.

    1. Orphanages In Cumberland or Dauphin
    2. My aunt was placed in an orphan's home in the mid 1920's, after her father's death in 1923. Is there a list of these homes? The family was living in New Cumberland at the time, but had deep roots in Harrisburg. My aunt never talked about it, and was back with her mother by the 1930 census, but I was wondering if any records kept would be available. Judy Candler Gaddess Wheaton, IL

    3. Hello Fellow Listers: We just returned from a drive through the mountains in and around the 3 Square Hollow area of Cumberland County. Along the north side of the 3 Square Hollow Rd. (on top of the mountain) there was just placed a new monument for the memorial of 3 fellows who died in a cargo plane crash in October 1956. One of the fellows' name was Marvin SEIGLER (ZEIGLER). We had never heard of a plane crash in this area before. Would anyone know any information about this crash? THANKS! Donna
