    3. Hi Anita, I am also searching for a HEFFELFINGER. My gg-grandmother was Mary Ann HEFFELFINGER born 18 June 1811 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. She married John KINCH/KINSCH in 1832. I can't find out who her parents were. Could there be a connection to your Mabel? 3. Would the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Boiling Springs be associated with the Mt. Zion Church in Monroe County that appears on the Cemetery Listing of the Cumberland GenWeb site? My gr-gr-grandfather's bible notes a Rev. William F. Kohler who married Mable Heffelfinger in 1919 in Mt. Holly Springs. The bride was 15 years old. William Kohler was listed as the preacher at Mt. Zion church, although which Mt. Zion Church was not noted. There are four enumerated on Cumberland GenWeb and the ones in Goodyear, Dickinson Twp, and Monroe Twp were all close enough to Mt. Holly for my family members to have attended. I'd be interested in any information about the church and William F. Kohler. Mable was my grandmother's first cousin. 2. Joe, Martha Beatty, b. 21 May 1748 Antrim Twp, Cumberland, PA d. 12 Aug. 1881, buried in the Johnston burying ground, near Shady Grove, Franklin Co., PA. This is from "Pennsylvania Women During the Revolution" _http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/cumberland/bios/john0001.txt_ (http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/cumberland/bios/john0001.txt) . There is also an article in Engles Notes & Queries S 4 V 1 pg. 327, which I found in my local library. If you don't have access to it I would be happy to send it to you. She is pretty well documented under the Johnston name in Franklin Co. which used to be Cumberland Co. The Kittochtinny Historical Society has volumes that have information about the Johnston's and I believe the Beatty's also. Thomas's father James was one of the first settler's in Cumberland/Franklin Co. There are a couple houses still standing around Shady Grove. If you want you may contact me at my personal email address. Nancy

    3. Good Mornin' Jim and fellow listers: I believe Middle Ridge is in Perry County while Honey Grove is in Juniata County. The Tuscarora Mountains run "between" Perry and Juniata Co. and is somewhat of the dividing line between the two. 2. The PA Archives has a Revolutionary War Military Abstract Card File on its site. Go to this URL and click on the Archives Records Information Access System link at the top: _http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/_ (http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/) Click on the Revolutionary War link. And finally, click on the name range most appropriate. Ex: GAUL,John-GAYMAN,John. I found several information cards on a John Gay from Cumberland Co. Either he served in more than one regiment or there were more than one. There was also a Robert and Thomas Gay, maybe brothers??? The PA Archives also has some fine pictures of historical documents online that can be pulled up and read, saved, etc. I found one on my ancestor, Patrick JACK, from the 1730's. Good luck!
