Good Morning Kathy: Thanks so much for the obit on Bertie Craig. He could very well be a nephew. Great Grandpa George W. Cregg had a brother by the name of John. John and his wife Jane are mentioned in grandpa's Civil War pension papers. It states in an affidavit, they were all friends from childhood and all lived in the same neighborhood. It also states John is the brother of George and he and Jane stood up for George at his wedding which took place at the Linesville Methodist Ch., mrd. by Rev. L. Heard, 17th day of April, 1872. Gr Grandma Cregg's name was Isabell Brandon Briggs, not Anna. It's been a long time since I have worked on the Cregg line. Anna was their daughter, my grandma. If you would like family history (what I have so far) on the Creggs for your records at the society, I would be glad to send them to you. The name Bullis is also in the family line; I believe Anna was mrd. to a Bullis but I have not found out as yet when. Anna was then married to my Grandfather, Frank Herman Rider. I don't know if this Bullis died or if they got divorced. Anyway, Dad (John H. Rider) had two stepsisters, Mabel Bullis and Bessie. Wasn't there a Bullis family that had a big celery farm there in Linesville? Seems to me I heard that somewhere. Thanks again Kathy for the obit. If I can be of help from the Lorain Co. OH area, please let me know as I am also a volunteer at the historical society. What would they do without us???? Jan
