Meadville Tribune ca. 1940's (No Date) COURTHOUSE KEEPS DISCHARGE PAPERS Records of 200 World War 1 Veterans Filed Through Free Service Register and Recorder Forest L. Knapp announced last evening that about 200 honorable discharge papers of World War 2 veterans have been recorded at his office in the courthouse since the first of this year. Miss Louise Adsit (my aunt...) is in charge of this service, which is offered free of charge as a convenience to all returning service men and women in Crawford County, Mr. Knapp said.
