    2. Hi Everybody: Found this today in an old scrap book that my aunt kept. Thought it might help somebody.... Meadville Tribune ca. 1940's (No Date) COURTHOUSE KEEPS DISCHARGE PAPERS Records of 200 World War 1 Veterans Filed Through Free Service Register and Recorder Forest L. Knapp announced last evening that about 200 honorable discharge papers of World War 2 veterans have been recorded at his office in the courthouse since the first of this year. Miss Louise Adsit (my aunt...) is in charge of this service, which is offered free of charge as a convenience to all returning service men and women in Crawford County, Mr. Knapp said. A total of 1,432 discharge papers dating back to and including the CIVIL WAR are now recorded at his office, Mr. Knapp added. and on the back side of this clipping is the following: Legal Record: Marriage License Applications William Allen Cousins - Meadville Margaret Thelma Sheakley - Meadville John Michael McGuire - Meadville Betty marie Beckman - Meadville Deeds Recorded: Will and Esther Ann Kline to R.J. & Helen Kline, property in Cambridge twp.
