I just wanted to Thank everyone for the response on the Stokes line and mention a book that I recently found that was helpful regarding German descendants . The Saeger and Graff family's of the Saegertown area originally started off in the North Alsace region before emigrating to the Lehigh Co.- Egypt area. A great book is- 18th. Century Emigrants from North Alsace to America by Annette Kunselman Burgert 974.8004 The book has maps of the area plus additional references to both American and European records in regards to emigrants from that region. So if you find that your relatives came circa 1825's to the Saegertown area ...they may have been with the German group from Lehigh Co. with Daniel Saeger, S. Balliet and the Graff's.
