My ancestor - Washington Huckelbery - was in the 11th Reg't during the Civil War. He died of wounds received at the Battle of Cedar Mountain in 1862. I was interested in Marilyn Hesse's entry about the regiment and wonder if she or anyone else knows anything about them - a roster of the men; the battles they fought; where they were recruited, etc. We have an unidentified photo of a soldier in uniform.
