Laverty, Mr. W. E. Snow and Mrs. Francelia Grindrod, both of Meadville. Beimer-Shiel - In this city, June 8th by Rev. Father Dunn, Mr. Leon Felix Beimer and Miss Veeronica Theresa Shiel, both of Meadville. Byhan-Swartz. In Vallonia, June 7th by J. Laverty, Mr. Charles Byham, and Miss Lizzie Swartz of Vallonia. DEATHS: Newhard - In Beaver, May 29th, Mr. Hilory Newhard, aged 63 years and one month. Dearborn - In Summerhill, May 31st of old age, John Dearborn, aged 80 years, 2 months and 9 days. Hickernell - In Springboro, May 29th, Clifford, son of Wm. and Clara Hickernell, aged 11 years, 7 months and 23 days. Smith - In Rock Island Co., IL, April 10th, Mrs. Francis Smith, nee Mosier, formerly of Summit township, aged 58 years, 2 months, and 7 days. Kighflinger - In Mead township, May 25th, Henry Kighflinger, aged 79 years. Campbell - In South Shenango township, May 30th, aged 68 years. Lawrence - In Conneautville, June 1st, W. A. Lawrence at an advanced age. Barber - In Rockdale, Sunday May 23d, Dewey Barber, aged about 38 years. Langworthy - In Athens township, May 29th, Lucien Langworthy. Deceased was a prominent and highly respected citizen. Harris - At Blooming Valley, June 6th, James G. Harris, aged 17 years. Smock - In Greenwood May 30th, Mrs. T. J. Smock. Abbot - In Greenwood, May 31st, Carrie, only daughter of Mr. & mrs. Homer Abbott, aged 7 years. McClure - In this city, June 7th, Mrs. H. K. McClure, aged nearly 30 years. Hon. Henry C. Johnson, ex-Commissioner of United States customs, died at St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie on Friday last. Mr. Johnson had come to Erie to visit friends and was prostrated by a renewal of his paralytic troubles which originated a few years ago. The funeral services were held in Erie and the remains, accompanied by the daughters of the deceased, Catherine and Emma, and Dr. & Mrs. McGill, brother-in-law and sister, were brought to this city via the P. S. & L. E. railroad Monday forenoon. They were met at the depot by relatives and friends and accompanied to Greendale cemetery where after services by Rev.
