    3. Hi Denise Zophar DAVIS - an unusual name caught my eye - I find I have a book with his signature penned 7 Aug 1851 along with his wife Mrs Cordelia DAVIS - who wrote a poem in same book. Location was in Washington, PA (Washington valley maybe ?) Now with a wife named Cordelia rather than Lois, and the time frame, I would speculate this Zophar may be a brother to your Polly Davis.
