Hi Marsha and List, My Great Grandfather (by adoption) had the middle name of Ransom......I suspect he was named after someone with that surname. He was Lewis Ransom Himebaugh, born 1852 near Venango, Crawford County, Pa. Do you know of any Ransom-Himebaugh connection? Thanks for any information you can share with me.
