Looking for information on Elkanah BARNEY and his wife Anna E. WOOD of Crawford Co. Pa. Elkanah Barney, Jr., born March 13, 1793, in Bennington, Vermont. He married Anna E. Wood abt 1817 in Bennington Vermont. She was the daughter of Isaac Wood and Anna Mooney. Elkanah Barney, Jr., March 23, 1855 in Guys Mills, Pa. Elkanah and Anna had the following children: John S. Barney born September 11, 1820, Mead, Pa William C. Barney born April 3, 1822, Erie Pa Charles Hiram Barney born April 3, 1823 Clarissa Barney born October 1, 1825, Mead Pa Mary Bunbia Barney born June 15, 1828, Mead, Pa Isaac Barney born January 9, 1832, Mead, Pa.
