Thanks to a great group of people (who I learned on Friday evenings are all at dinner) I know have the facts--well, maybe too many! Brokenstraw -- in 1800, it was a Twp. in Crawford -- but when the county split to form new, it got moved to "maybe" Warren and "maybe" Verango! I've been told both...and I still confused...but do want to say thanks to Barbara for the wonderful history notes she sent to me -- to Kipp, and to Annette for the input each of you took time to send.
