    3. Looking forward to the 1850 & 1860 census returns for Spring Twp., the 10-15 yr old male in 1840 is obviously Trumble Parker and the 20-30 yr. old male is Giles Jr. as Trumble's age is given in 1850 as 26 and Giles Jr's age as 41, Giles Sr. is said to be 69. There is an error as to where he was born. The census states that he was born in Pennsylvania. However he was born in NY in the previous census. In the 1860 census, neither Giles Jr. nor Giles Sr. are listed, however, Clarssa, the wife of Giles Jr. is listed, as well as Trumble. Another census anomaly occurred in this one as Trumble has aged only 2 years to 28 whereas he should be 38. Can't always take the data on the census as accurate. I cannot verify that this Giles Parker is the son on Ambrose Parker, however it is most likely that he was a brother of Andrew Parker who was my ggg-grandfather and that Giles Sr. came to Crawford County about the same time that Andrew and his son, my ggg-grandfather Ichabod T. Parker migrated to Crawford Co. from Washington Co., NY; which was about 1825.
